The Keystone Fiddlers was founded in 2019 by sisters, Melissa Hagy and Christy King, who formed the band in a desire to give their music students opportunities to play with other musicians and to acquire valuable experiences performing for an audience.  Based out of south central Pennsylvania, the band has performed at many venues including the Maryland Irish Fest, the Kutztown Folk Festival, and the Rose and Shamrock Festival. The Fiddlers enjoy playing a variety of music, including Irish, Scottish, and a few bluegrass tunes.

Christy is one of the founding members and teachers for the Keystone Fiddlers. An avid fiddle player since the age of 4, Christy is proficient in several styles of music, focusing mainly on the Scottish and Irish styles, and has competed and performed all over the east coast. Formerly a part of the bands the Celtic Martins and the Martin Sisters Band, Christy and her husband currently tour with their Celtic band, Summer on Duke. Christy enjoys teaching people of all ages to play the fiddle and cello, and is passionate about sharing her love of music to everyone around her.
